The return to school is as predictable as the seasons. For well over a century, each fall has arrived with the familiar sights and sounds of the school year: chalk dust, creaking desks, and the promise of fresh beginnings.

Join past and present Chippewa Valley educators as they share powerful, funny, and heartfelt stories about the larger lessons learned in the classroom. We have a great group of former and current teachers representing elementary school, middle school, high school, and the university level experience. They include Molly Barnes, Rozie Bejin, BJ Hollars, Connie Russell, and Ken Szymanski. Joining in the fun will be musicians Derick Black and Scotty Hayden, teachers who will play school-themed music to go with the stories.

This presentation will be held in Sunnyview School, a one-room school at Chippewa Valley Museum in Carson Park. Grab a chair when you arrive and face the front, but no dipping anyone's pigtails in the ink!
