Welcome to registration for CVM's Summer Kid's Programs. Time Travelers programs are offered for 1st - 5th graders at $8 per session + material fees. Students living within Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) boundaries should register for ECASD Only sessions to take advantage of special pricing arrangements, Chippewa Valley Museum members can participate in General Sessions for the cost of materials, Please contact our Museum Educator, Karen Jacobson, with any questions regarding children's programs at k.jacobson@cvmuseum.com | Contact Us | (715) 834-7871

ECASD Only Let's Celebrate [ECASD Students Only, June 24 or 25 from 2-3:30pm]
• Tour our newest exhibit celebrating Norwegian and Hmong culture
• Hear folk tales performed by special guest storytellers
• Create a rosemaled and paj ntaub inspired folk art project
• Enjoy handmade lefse and egg rolls

$5 Material Fee per registrant

General Let's Celebrate [General Audiences, June 25 from 10:30am-Noon]
• Tour our newest exhibit celebrating Norwegian and Hmong culture
• Hear folk tales performed by special guest storytellers
• Create a rosemaled and paj ntaub inspired folk art project
• Enjoy handmade lefse and egg rolls

$8 + $5Material Fee per registrant

ECASD Only Pioneer Life [ECASD Students Only, July 8 or 9 from 2-3:30pm]
• Explore an “off-the-grid” 1860s log home
• Find out what life was like before indoor plumbing or other modern conveniences
• Investigate early lighting using hands-on-history artifacts
• Experience candle making and get a DIY kit

$5 Material Fee per registrant

General Pioneer Life [General Audiences, July 9 from 10:30am-Noon]
• Explore an “off-the-grid” 1860s log home
• Find out what life was like before indoor plumbing or other modern conveniences
• Investigate early lighting using hands-on-history artifacts
• Experience candle making and get a DIY kit

ECASD Only Fun on the Farm [ECASD Students Only, July 15 or 16 from 2-3:30pm]
• Imagine farming a century ago versus today
• Watch a live butter churning demonstration with samples
• Pitch a round of horseshoes for prizes
• Visit our Ice Cream Parlor for a tasty frozen treat
