Presented by Colonel (Ret) Gary Carlberg, this unique interactive program shows General George Meade as the man who, while awarded for his leadership in the Union army during the Civil War, became known as “a da_ned old goggle-eyed snapping turtle.” From Meade’s younger years at West Point to his achievements during the Civil War, the audience will experience an immersive retelling of events ranging from fake news about desire to retreat to what is known as the “Peach Tree” incident. The program concludes with an audience vote on whether they’d choose to keep or fire Meade.

This program is made possible with ongoing financial support from Eau Claire County.
