US Open Chainsaw Sculpture Championship

August 10-13

This is the biggest event of the year for the Chippewa Valley Museums and it's an experience like none other. The four-day event is jam-packed with activity. Use this guide to plan your visit. 

Proceeds from the event will support Chippewa Valley Museums all-year long.

About NAFA: The 2023 NAFA World Series will take place August 10-13 and the A & 23U will be playing on August 17-20. These teams travel from all over the USA to play and compete with their divisions. Games will occur Thursday-Sunday with over 70 teams competing to come out champions!

Parking

-- Main Carson Park parking lot (by the basebally stadium) ONLY. Access to event is by walk-up or shuttle cart.

There will NOT be parking in front of either the Wisconsin Logging Museum or Chippewa Valley Museum.

Museum Access

Chippewa Valley Museum and Wisconsin Logging Museum exhibits available exclusively with US Open Chainsaw Sculpture Championship tickets during the duration of the event. Both museum are air conditioned.

Sculpture Auctions

Every day ends with a live auction of sculptures made by guest carvers and quick carvings made by competition carvers. These are smaller items perfect for porches, yards, and lobbies.

The Sunday live auction features the judged masterpieces made by the competition carvers.

Friday Night Raffle

Visitors can buy chances to win donated items. Raffle drawings will take place before the live auction on Friday night. Raffle items include:
